Hydrotreating - Hydrodewaxing Production Of Low Pour Diesel Technology

In order to meet the variation of market demand on different diesel in northern cold area , a single stage hydrofining-hydrodewaxing in series process was developed. It has been applied to produce premium low freezing point diesel fuel from inferior diesel and straight run wax bearing oil .Type HPL-1 hydrofining catalyst and type HPD-1 hydrodewaxing catalyst developed by ourself are used in this process .The HPD-1 catalyst was made from ZSM-5 molecular sieve catalyst through special treatment.It has high selectivity and anti-ammonia performance .Thefeed,either inferior diesel or straight run wax bearing oil,was first hydrofined in hydrofining catalyst bed,thenthe refined oil went into the hydrodewaxing catalyst bedfor catalytic cracking .The cracked oil was then proc-essed through hydrofinishing .Tests showed that the freez-ing point of diesel processed from the mixture of cataly-tic light diesel ,straight run A3 and V1 oil under low temperature and low pressure in hydrofining-hydrode-waxingprocess ,could reach 35℃below zero.The product has high degree of desulfurization and denitrogenation .Even if with the catalytic diesel oil inferior quality ,the product`ssulfur and statility of antioxidant can meet the light diesel fuel specifications .Moreover ,the deammonia and heat exchange systems are not needed in this single stage.The refining catalyst and dewaxing catalyst may be filledin two reactors connected in series separately ,and also may be combined into one reactor.The flow sheet is simple,so the unit needs low capital .Products in summer need no dewaxing ,only hydrofining is needed, when products inwinter need dewaxing ,it`s easy to comb-ine the hydrodewax-ing system in series .This serial process is an effectiveprocess to produce prenium low freezing point diesel fuel.
