Carbon nanotubes have good mechanical properties, such as high intensity, tenacity and wear resistance, at the same time it have other fantastic properties: electrical conductivity, optics, absorption properties et al. Carbon nanotubes can be applied in many fields, especially in micro/nano electrical fields, these carbon nanotubes materials can be used for building electrical device or electrocircuit. In order to realize these applications, the problem about controllability and integration of carbon nanotubes become key technology. So research on manipulation of carbon nanotubes has practical significance.Firstly, in these paper a new method about manipulation of carbon nanotubes are present according to the problem of manipulation with tip directly. Some problems based on that way are found , such as wear of tip, area of machining is limited ,et al. In our method, a set of diamond tools feeding device is designed, it can be used to fulfill the machining of sample, measurement of sample is done by AFM tip, and mirco feeding is carried out by PZT. At present, this device can attain nano-feeding.Because the stability of AFM is influenced badly by environment, sometimes we can't scan a clear image and can't judge the contact between tools and sample correctly. A spring-damping vibration isolation system is designed to improve the performance of AFM. We determine the factor of vibration isolation system with attenuation method and analyze the effect of vibration isolation system according to the curve of Td-λ . The signal of vibration from outside can attenuate quickly. We can find that the vibration isolation system can improve the measurement performance of AFM though scanning image of disc and carbon nanotubes.The scanning image become clear and slip.The influence of supersonic time on the disperse of carbon nanotubes is analysed in the preparation of sample, finding that the best disperse time is 2.53 hours, we can relatively easy to find the individual carbon nanotubes.
