Study On The Evaluation To The Eco-environmental Quality Of The Small Towns

The small towns are the political, economic, and cultural centers of the countryside region, which also serve as the ligament between cities and villages as well as the important base for the centralized and economical development of the town enterprises, for the assembling and dispersing of materials, and for the promotion of science and technology and cultural education in the countryside areas. However, the small towns are being polluted as the boosting of the industrialized and urbanized development. The serious environmental pollution is greatly shedding negative impact on the residents' productive activities, living conditions and health. Therefore, administering the contamination and improving the environment have become a big problem in the process of the towns' development.This thesis, aimed at the newly emerged ecological problems in the towns' rapid developing progress, was completed analyzing the present ecological condition and problems of the small towns by consulting plenty of civil and foreign documents and with the combination of the practical research. Using the sustainable development and ecological theories, from the perspectives of nature, society, and economy and selecting 20 items, this paper constructs the environmental quality evaluation index systems for small towns and also its models by means of analytic hierarchy process, specialist score making method and fuzzy comprehensive appraisal method. I carried out the research with the real data of the Daqiao town, made the comprehensive evaluation of the ecological environment of it. And meanwhile, approving the validity of the models.Finally, the paper put forward the measures and suggestions to the eco-environment construction according to the actual situation of Daqiao town of Wuhu.
