Landfill provides a good path as the main treatment method of MSW.But generated landfill sites much belong to simple ones and exist serious safety problem.Fire, explosion and collapse event taking place in landfill sites is a clear certificate. In order to prevent the same event, there is necessity to get to scientific analysis and assessment ,then adopt reasonable safety measure.According to the general procedure of safety assessment ,this paper analyses and evaluates the existing safe problem of the simple landfill site, then put forward the safety control measure combining the ShenZhen GanKeng landfill's safety control engineering.By investigating and analyzing GanKeng landfill's present condition,it discovers the possibility of fire and explosion for the lack of LFG's control, the possibility of collapse for leachate, and the breakage possibility of the building near the landfill sites;Aiming at the complexity of landfill's safe problem and the misty of the influential factor, choose fussy Synthetic Assessment, establish the safety evaluation index system of the MSW landfill, and apply to evaluating the safety of GanKeng landfill. The result of evaluation is "very insecurity";According to the result of analysis and evaluation, the following measures are put forward :neating the ground, establishing LFG gathering system including vertical well and level well, establishing leachate gathering system. The result of revaluation expresses the improvement of landfill safety. But it is necessary to enhance the level of management for landfill and surrounding environment,to norm the landfill work.Through the above measure the safe problem will be eliminated.
