Exploit Computer Program For Three-Dimensional Visualizing Serial Sections Figures Of Material Microstructure

The computer program for joining serial sections of material microstructure into stereo-picture have been studied and developed in this article. The stereo-picture of material microstructure at which cannot be looked directly can be observed, by developed computer program which processed serial sections planar picture of material microstructure which obtained by serial sections method and then displayed its stereo-picture on the computer screen.In this article, the stereo-picture of material microstructure have been finished drawing by building up matching points relation between adjacent slices through setting up mark for matching points conforming to three rules?the Minimum Distance rule and the Well-Distributed rule and the Figure Topological Similar rule through reconstructing surface of microstructure by polygons which have been produced naturally by matching points and applying Eliminating Hideous Lines method.Building up matching points relation between adjacent contours is the basic for exploiting computer program of which for drawing material microstructure stereo-picture, and proper matching points relation is the key to reconstructing microstructure surface of which is coincide with practical surface, so points matching relation must be defined scientifically, for this reason, rules have been drafted for defining points matching relation in the article: (1) the Minimum Distance rule, this rule is suit for the case that size and topology of two adjacent contours are similar; (2) the Well-Distributed rule: this rule is suit for the case that points count of two adjacent contour have a great gap; (3) the Figure Topological Similar rule, this rule is suit for the case that topology between adjacent contour have a great difference, and for building up scientific point matching relation, some points matching relation must be pre-determined artificially.For observing stereo-picture of microstructure from every angle, the stereo-picture that was drew by opening up program can be revolved according to angle which the observer wanted to, so the observer can learn the whole stereo-picture information of microstructure.
