For a long time, simulate irregular natural scenery kind of smoke, fire, cloud, is a hot research subject in the field of computer graphics, in virtual reality, game animation, film and television ads have a wide range of applications. Affected by the environment, their shape changes randomly, color is also different, it is difficult to use traditional video technology to model and implement. With the deepening of research in recent years, a variety of simulation and rendering methods are emerging, in which the particle system is generally considered one of the most successful generation algorithm. Research work of this paper is based on particle systems for different material to produce a flame burning effects simulation.Looking at the current flame simulation studies, the majority of design software still define flame as a big concept object type, there is no specific segments, and gives a number of complex parameters, so we often need take a long time to compare and choose debugging parameters when implementing, repeatedly rendering, resulting in takes too long. Visual effects, most flame simulation of post-processing software are generally simple and dull. Though Using particle systems of MAYA and other three-dimensional software to render flame effect has a high fidelity, but rendering speed is usually slow because of massive calculation.To solve these problems, this paper research work and achievements include:(1) Based on the different combustible material on fire classification, and made in the shape, color, and disturbances are three main visual features to describe. Observe and analyze visual characteristics of different materials flame burning through researching physical and chemical properties, combustion mechanism.Sort all of these.(2) On the basis of theoretical research, advance single material comb ustion flame simulation method. By analyzing the characteristics of different flame visual in color, shape, and turbulence to determine the dominant parameters. Advance each feature effect of computer implementation method, and the reasonable parameter range consider of this method, then use particle system of After Effects to achieve different types of flame rendering. Eventually organize all types of material flame rendering into a series of AE script, you can directly call the production, simple operation, rendering speed fast, high fidelity results.(3) Based on the above, to achieve a multi- material hybrid combustion flame rendering. Study mix of two even three combustible materials burning characteristics, the use of a single material burning flame superimposed rendering, mixing, testing, debugging, advance multi- material hybrid combustion flame rendering methods.
