Application Of Leveling Agent In Wool-dyeing

By comparing with and analyzing the old leveling agent, indicating their advantage and shortcomings, this article mainly reports the application of leveling agent SO in wool dyeing, aiming at finding the best application conditions.A series of physical-chemical properties of leveling agent SO , such as wetting property, surface tension, CMC and so on , were tested. During the application experiment in wool dyeing with weak acid dyes, the leveling principle and effect of leveling agent SO was investigated in retard to dyeing effect, dye migration and the interaction between dyes and leveling agents, and its effect on the properties of wool surface. The wool dyeing properties of leveling agent SO were analyzed in different conditions, such as temperature, pH and the usages of surfactant. The leveling result was contrasted between this surfactant and the relevant products which existed at home and abroad. The results show that the leveling agent SO is a surfactant with low surface tension and good leveling effect.
