| The new two-stage separation technology ,which is composed of LW350(orLW720) horizontal screw-discharge centrifuge and cyclone and use for separating red mud in sode-lime sinter process ,has been investigated .This new rechnology decreases the time of separating solid from liquor and the chance of secondary reactions.In comparison with separation by settling tank the new technology increases leach yield of Al2O3 by 3.33% , leach yield of Na2O by 1.58% ,decreases suspension by 3.36g/l(or increases leach yiled of A12O3 by 2.55% , leach yield of Na2O by 1.875% ).When the working pressure of cyclone is 0.18~0.2MPa the solid in cyclone overflow is less than 60g/l,it can satisfy the requirement of solid contrent in slurry fed to centrifuge. |
