Mineral deposits are un-substantial resources. With the development of mining, mining has a tendency towards the deposits at depth and with lower grade. Cost will increases and production will decreases by using underground mining and track transportation of ores. Also, safety management will become more touching in above mining pattern. Accordingly, using trackless equipment is an important approach to improve mining activities. However, because the history of using trackless equipment is not so long, particularly for the mine in chemical industry, there are few successful cases of mining development system and retract technology that can be copied, since the geological conditions are various at different districts In fact, the selection and optimization of mining parameters are very important. It not only concerns with mine life period and development, but also the effect of using large scale equipment, the productivity, the extraction percentage, the labor strength and the cost, etc in the whole mining process. Therefore, it is very significant to investigate the trackless development system and extraction techniques for the case of Maluping Mine.In the thesis, the investigation deals with the practical geological conditions. Several problems during the using trackless equipment process is successfully solved. There some progress in theory and practice in the investigation.The thesis consists of five parts. Part one is a review of which the source, goals and meaning of the project, the present situation of trackless equipment using over the world and the problem of Maluping mine,.are presented. Part two is the design of the trackless development system of Maluping Mine, including determination of drift position, cross-sectional area, slope angle, hole pattern and depth, explosive charge, support techniques and so on. Part three is the design of sectional area of mining cross-cut, operation and the mining method as well as their improvement. Part four is the selection of extracting ore and mining equipment in sope. Part five is the practice and conclusion of the whole project.
