The Research Of High-performance Electronic Pipeline Cleaning Instrument And Assistance Apparatus

With the fast development of pipeline carrying trade and the gas pipeline paved for "Western Gas for Eastern Area" Project, high performance of pipeline pigs is needed. But at present, there is still a large gap between that of domestic products and our highly requirement. Foreign products are adopted in pipeline cleaning under sea, while you will not see any of domestic brands. For the limited performance of pipeline pigs, some ultra-long pipelines are cleaned by segment cleaning to overcome such deficiency. The large gap between products and practical demand makes the research on high performance pipeline pigs greatly significant not only in economic but also in social benefit.This paper introduces a new high performance pipeline pig and its complete instrument, and illustrates in detail the design in respect of mechanical and circuit structure. Through design and calibration of steel framework, bolt and bowl-shaped husk, research on electronic sender circuit, application of PC technique, selection of best frequency, circuit design for location system and combination of signal display modules, this high performance pipeline pig can effectively meet industrial demand.Experiment result shows that this high performance pipeline pig has reached the design specifications in all respect of transit capacity, transmission frequency, receiving distance, location accuracy and continuous working time and anti-jamming performance.The high performance pipeline pig and its complete instrument has great significance, because it solves the problem of ultra-high price of imported products and lowers down 1/5 in price under the condition of equivalent specifications. Meanwhile, it can provide guidance and reference for future research.
