Abstract/Summary:
Sinter chain is one of the most important equipment in modern steel enterprise. Normal sinter chain in use is accompanied with a so-called phenomenon named arching when it works, because of the insufficiencies in the structure of the machine and the cardinal principle of the pallet cars. The accumulative impact of the arching can lead to the abrasion at the side bottom of every pallet, where shapes the clearance between two matched pallets and results in a large mass of air leakage, which accounts for nearly twenty percent of the total system air leakage when the pallets pass through the upside track for agglomeration. Professor Bai Minghua from Yanshan University have brought forward the design theory of new-type sinter chain to solve the problem, which is lucubrated by other scholars in the following years, and proved to be correct on the whole by doing a lot of experiments, but the theory is still not a perfection because impingements would happen between the pursuant pallet car and the pallet car line at the horizontal track, which can result in a decrease of the equipment life at last.An ideal description of the pallet's movement has been put forward in this thesis, which based on the new theory, and an optimized equation to the tooth outline of the sprocket has been educed, so that arching could be avoided while the dentitions of the sprocket meshing with the wheel of the pallet, which becomes the newest complement of the theory. Parameterized design method and CAD technology have been used in the designing of new-type sinter chain tentatively as a main direction of the design method's development. A CAD system for new-type sinter machine named CASID(Computer-Aided Sinter chain Intellectualized Devise),has been compiled with Visual Basic 6.0, by using which the parameterized devise and the data management of the basic parts of the new machine with a range of agglomeration area from 24sq.m. to 700sq.m. can be done effectively, such as sprocket, pallet, track and so on, a simple simulation of the pursuant pallet's movement at the downside track can also be performed in use of the software.The optimized devise theories of new-type sinter chain and computer-aided parameterized method have been integrated into the thesis, so that the CASID system is provided with high intelligent degree and good practicability.
