Currently, affected by domestic and international economic situation, iron and steelenterprises enter the area of “meager prefit”. In order to adapt to the market, blast furnaceproduction has taken various measures, one of the important ting is to improve theproportion of sinter. Therefore, the sintering machine which can produce sinter becomemore and more important。If the design of sintering pallet、sprocket、curved track areunreasonable, the operating rate will be effected, and the operating costs will beimproved.This paper introduced the design theory of sintering machine, and analysis thereasons for pallet crach, which is important to Improve equipment performance.Firstly, the article described the structure of the major components, the mainparameters of the sintering machine,and designed sintering machine. The modeloflarge-scaleodd-tooth sintering machine was established by using Solid Works andsimulation analysis was done by using ADAMS. The movement parameter variationcurves of pallet car’s line and tail sprocket wheel were obtained, and the cause of velocityfluctuation was found out.Secondly, Studied the thermal stress of pallet tailgate, by measuring the sinter’stemperature, the materials combustion process was understood, and finite element modelof pallet tailgate, drawing the stress cloud and deformation cloud.Finally, combined with work practice, analysis the problems such as sinteringmachine leakage、the phenomenon of arching when it works, provide some opinions toslove these problems. These opinions which can guide the maintenance of equipment isworth learning.
