This article overviewed the development of natural gas dehydrate, desulfurize and molecular sieve regeneration. Physical characteristics of 4A molecular sieve were measured and evaluated; Static adsorption data of water/molecular sieve were matched by mathernatic models; Dynamic adsorption characteristic of water on 4A molecular sieve were measured; And the method for dehydrate improvement were suggested.The molecular sieve samples were obtained from top, middle and bottom adsorption tower and were studied compared with new molecular sieve. Appearance, pH of aqueous solution, loss of weight caused by heat, specific surface area and accumulated pore volume were measured respectively. It was proved that some acid materials were adsorbed on the molecular sieve. Specific surface area and accumulated pore volume of the used molecular sieves decreased compared with the new, which lead to the lower adsorption capability. Mechanical property of agglomerated molecular sieve decreased greatly and there were oil and coke, in it.Langmuir equation was used to match the adsorption isomer of water/molecularx +Tsieve at 30 . Equation qx = was used to match the data ofwater/3 A, 4A, 5 A and 13X molecular sieves that measured at saturated vapor pressure at different temperatures. It could be used to explain the maximum adsorption temperature. On the industrial equipment, dynamic adsorption curve of water and sulfur/4A molecular sieve were measured. Evaluation of dehydrate and desulfurize were made for this adsorption tower.The shape of molecular sieve, flow condition, tower construction, temperature, liquid water and oil were found to be the major reason caused pulverization and agglomeration. Improvement methods were suggested in the article. Influence ofsulfur to molecular sieve and equipment were also analyzed. It is suggested that desulfurize using alumina/molecular sieve double-bed is good.
