This article overviewed the basic properties of molecular sieve, the development of dehydrate and desulfuration in early process of natural gas, the exploration of molecular sieve regeneration.The molecular sieve samples were obtained from top, middle and bottom adsorption tower of Sanan cryogenic equipment and were studied compared with new molecular sieve. PH of aqueous solution, loss of weight caused by heat, specific surface area and accumulated pore volume were measured respectively. It was proved that nonrenewable material were adsorbed on the used molecular sieve, that makes specific surface area and accumulated pore volume of the molecular sieves decreased compared with the new, leads to the lower adsorption capability. Mechanical intensity of agglomerated molecular sieve decreased, efflorescence seriously, property decreased greatly.Langmuir equation was used to match the adsorption isomer of water/molecular sieve at 30℃. Equation was used to match the data of water/3A, 4A, 5A and 13X molecular sieves that measured at saturated vapor pressure at different temperatures. It could be used to explain the maximum adsorption temperature.On the industrial equipment, dynamic adsorption curve of water and sulfur/4A molecular sieve were measured. Evaluation of dehydrate and desulfurize were made for this adsorption tower.In view of the molecular sieve efflorescence, agglomerated and property decreasing question, the article carries on the analysis from the shape of molecular sieve, flow condition, tower construction, temperature, liquid water and oil aspect, proposes the improvement measure and the suggestion.
