The lack of water resource is a great problem which is needed be solved in the economic construction of our country. The wastewater reuse for circulating cooling water has great potential. This paper focused on the reuse of refinery factory channel to the circulating cooling water system.lt was high in economic and technical profit.lt provided an experimental basis for standard of the wastewater quality control of circulating cooling water while the refinery wastewater was reused.Firstly,a compound scale and corrosion inhibitors which could be used in wastewater reuse was researched, and researches on the corrosion factors such as chloride ions, oil content, turbidity, salt content,COD,etc.in the circulating cooling water system for which wastewater is reused have heen discussed.Secondly, the factors which effect the scale were studied in circulating cooling water system for which wastewater was reused. Then, based on the outstanding microbiological problem while wastewater is being reused for circulating cooling water system, effects of COD on bacteria growth had been studied.A compound bactericidal and deprivation agent was researched. The results show that the bactericidal anddeprivation agent has special features of good compatibility, brodaspectrum, high sterilization rate.Dynamic simulated tests were made under various factors. The results indicate that scale and corrosion inhibition of carbon steel can be satified production, better than national standard GB50050-1995"corrosion rate of carbon steel smaller than 0.125mm/a".Finally,industrial application experiment has proceeded in ChangLing Company,SINOPEC in October ,2002.The corrosion, scale and microbe of circulating cooling water system had been monitored.
