Abstract/Summary:
In this work, silk fibers were chemically modified by grafting with di-vinyl compounds such as hexanediol diacrylates(P6) and di-tetraethylene glycol dimethacrylate(Pl). In this thesis examined the reactivity of these grafting agents toward silk fibers. Mean while, investigated the structure and properties of these grafted silk fibers in relation to the graft yield on the basis of the results of tensile properties as well as moisture absorption, whiteness, thermal, IR, Raman, birefringence, and so on analyses. The properties of dyeing of silk-modified, such as dyeing thermodynamics, dyeing kinetics and K/S values, have been studied.
