| In this thesis, we discuss the structure of silk, give a view of chemical modification of silk all over the world. We suggest that silk be modified with polyethylene glycol dimethacrylates.First of all, we have done a series experiments to syntheses di-,tri-,tetraethylene glycol dimethacrylates. The optimum conditions of syntheses are determined, the production efficiency are respectively 89%, 72.5%, 60.5%. The pure degree of diethylene glycol dimethacrylates and triethylene glycol dimethacrylates are 90.8, 70%.Then silk fibers are processed by polyethylene glycol dimethacrylates which are used as cross-linking agents. With kinetic study, we count out grafting rate equations and activation energy respectively. The optimum conditions are determined. The processed silk fibers are studied by infrared spectrum, the amino acid compositions are measured, and the dynamic mechanical behaviors are also discussed. To study what optimum quality silk fabric are given after modified by polyethylene glycol dimethacrylates, the silk fabrics are finish processed by polyethylene glycol dimethacrylates, using pad-bake method. To find different influence to finished silk fabrics with different polyethylene glycol dimethacrylates, the DCRA, WCRA, breaking strength, dye ability of finished fabric are measured. We think tetraethylene glycol dimethacrylates is better to improve silk crease-resistance.Wang Ke-na ( Dyeing and Finishing Engineering ) Directed by: Prof. Chen Guo-qiang... |
