The paper presents preparations and properties of catalysts for improving quality of straight-run gasoline.Catalysts were made of ZSM-5 zeolite on which ferric oxide.molybdena,wolfram or zinc oxide were loaded.The experimental set-up is mainly composed of continuous flow fixed-bed microreactor in which 10 milliliter catalyst is loaded and feed stock is straight-run gasoline from Petroleum Refinery of Daqing Petrochemical Company.Hydrocarbon ingredient of feed stock and gasoline product is analysed by gas chromatograph and RON of them is estimated through a formulation.Effects of different active component,SiO2/Al2O3 mole ratio of ZSM-5 zeolite,content of active component,methods of adding active component and reaction conditions on catalysts were respectively investigated.The results show that ZSM-5 zeolite whose SiO2/Al2O3 mole ratio is 50 has better properties on improving quality of straight-run gasoline than others;The catalyst which is loaded ferric oxide as active component has satisfying comprehensive properties;Zinc oxide has fine modifying effects on ZSM-5 zeolite;Methods of adding active component has effect on catalyst properties to some extent.The catalyst made of ZSM-5 zeolite (SiO2/Al2O3=50) modified by zinc oxide on which ferric oxide was loaded was used for improving straight-run gasoline under 310℃.RON of gasoline product was increased by 32 unit and liquid yield was over 80%.Moreover,this catalyst had good active stability.
