Assessment Of Ecological Value And Case Study

By studying the production about assessment of ecological value of the domestic and foreign scholars, the paper discusses the content, type, assessment methods of assessment of ecological value, and buids a index system for assessment, which includes four layers (target type, feature and index) and Each level also contains a number of evaluation indicators. Estimating method is given for each indicator. The value of material goods which is given the market value method and the serving value of ecology is given the alternative market value method. And specific methods are given for those indicators.In this thesis, Shucheng county of Liu'an city as the research object, by using this building assessment system, combining with the actual situation of the county, through field research and related basic data collection, an index system for assessment of Shucheng is given, which includes four layers (target type, feature and index) and 18 evaluation indicators. According the actual situation in Shucheng, throught collecting data and information of water air soil bio-diversity and referring domestic and foreign scholars'productions, the paper ascertains the index value which suit for Shucheng and estimates the ecological value of it. Total value is 5.635 billion yuan, of which the value of material goods was 1.639 billion yuan, accounting for 29.09%; and eco- functional services value is 3.996 billion yuan, accounting for 70.91%.Why the ratio 1:2.44 of the value of material goods and the value of ecosystem service is below the the existing international and domestic research results (the ecosystem service value and the value of material goods ratio of 1: 7-10). The reasons as following: the data obtained is not perfect and comprehensive; varieties of resources are not able to refine which can't fully reveal the ecological value of the region; when assessment the value of ecological value, very scholar has a selection of assessment methods and different methods; in china, the government pay more attention to economic development than environmental protection. It inevitably result in people pay more attention to the physical output, and ignore the value of ecosystem services.
