With the development of digital close-range photogrammetry, non-metric digital camera became particularly important, but because of its distortion rules complex, larger image distortion, and inner orientation element is not fixed, therefore, the theoretical and applied research of non-metric camera which used in close-range photogrammetry is still not perfect, the in-depth research in which theory, methods, accuracy of a comprehensive is necessary.This paper discusses the metrizatal process of non-metric cameras ,the distortion calibration of photos and re-sampling, and the results of analysis, the results and analysis showed that the metrizatal process of non-metric cameras is necessary and effective.On the test of close-range photogrammetry ,we can see that metrizatal camera is more accurate than common camera, the former gets to the requirement of mapping and engineering .the dream of transformation the original image obtained by digital camera into three-dimensional useful information become true. Giving reference opinion of non-metric camera and Digital Photogrammetric Workstation used in close-range photogrammetry .
