Jing River Area locates at a landslide zone which has the frequent geological disease, also the loess landslide in this area is very typical. Since "Guanzhong—Tianshui Economic Circle Strategy" economic strategies lodged and developed, Jing River Research Area has become a "one core, one axis, three radiation" economically and strategically central hinterland around Xi'an. Research on Jing River Research Area's distribution pattern and measures for preventing and controlling, not only good for the residents' safety and development of economic society, but also contains practical significance for implementing domestic and local developing strategies. This article mainly researches on the following problems:(1)After analyzing the distribution pattern and forming factors of the landslide of Jing River banks temporally and spatially, the result indicates the landslide's spatio-temporal distribution pattern is closely related to its factors of forming; also as the inside and outside factors cross-affecting, temporal distribution indicates periodic gyration character, spatial distribution indicates location-difference character.(2)The slopes of Jing River banks are categorized by its differential structure and types, and analyzed the structure and types of the high risk slopes, the result shows that the frequency of landslide is clearly affected by their original structure and types.(3)After preliminary research on the forming mechanism and historical evolution of the two typical types of landslides of Jing River downstream region, the result showed the formation of these two typical landslides is affected by the differential uplifting in WeiBei area; However, the formation of Xi He Tan landslide is caused by slice-layers rotating and sliding of the end of landslide,as well as the front of landslide is lifted by pebble layers to slip at accelerated speed;also the stracture of landslide is fragmentary.On the other hand,the forming mechanism of Tang Jia Cun landslide is caused by rotating and sliding of deep-seated slice-layers of middle-ended landslide,at the same time the front of landslide is squeezed which makes the north bank of Jing River cut out and then the Jing River is moved towards north by the lifting of the front landslide; the middle-ended landslide stays unchanged after shifting.(4)Using 2D-Block DEM numerical simulation software simulated 2 typical landslides in Jing River downstream region. After analyzing the tracking-model and simulation slipping process, the simulation of landslide is basically the same as its actual forming to evolution process. The result indicates the it is fine to use 2D-Block DEM numerical simulation software to simulate there 2 loess landslides, also the parameters of model setup, block separation, simulation calculation are suitable for this simulation process.(5)Based on analysis about the distribution pattern, forming condition and transformative destroy of the landslide of Jing River banks, and setting treatment rules as pre-condition, lodged a few relevant suggestions about measures for preventing and controlling. In concludes, analyze domestically, treat synthetically, to prevent from the future damage.
