In recent years,our break out geological hazards were frequent multiple trend.As the main geological disaster in the mountain,debris flow is seriously affected thenormal life of mountain people. Because of the threat larger population, once anoutbreak, it will cause significant casualties and economic losses, serious harm to thenational and people’s lives and property safety, restricting the mountain-building andeconomic development. Therefore, debris flow prevention and cure is becoming moreand more important. Through the strengthening of the debris flow in the mountainousof research, evaluation, disaster management and early warning forecast, putting intopractice economy and reasonable preventive engineering, will be the possibility ofdisaster and disaster losses to a minimum.This thesis carried out the debris flow risk assessment on Jiang gou at Tahevillage of Qingshui town in Mentougou distract in Beijing. Based on the assessment,it analysed and researched the specific control measures. Study contents andachievements acquired in the thesis are mainly includes as follows:(1)Based on the comprehensive analysis of domestic and international riskassessment of debris flow, this thesis introduced the natural geographical andgeological conditions of debris flow gully in detail. The emphases of this study arehuman engineering activities and social and economic conditions.(2) According to the geological environmental conditions within the basin inJiang gou of Tahe village, the debris flow basin is divided into formation areas,circulation area and accumulation area. According to the empirical formula andtechnical method, analysis of the dynamic characteristics of debris flow, the value ofcharacteristic parameters through calculation are acquired, which includes the bulkdensity of debris flow, velocity, peak flow, size, the overall impact, climb andmaximum lifting height of the debris flow. These provide the basis for the riskassessment and prevention suggestions.(3) The thesis analysis of the formation conditions of the debris in Jiang gou ofTahe village flow in depth, three formation conditions are landform, rainfall, loosematerial conditions, none of which can be omitted.(4) With the quantitative comprehensive evaluation method and the method ofLiu Xilin Jiang gou of Tahe village debris flow hazard assessment for risk assessment,and comparative analysis of these two kinds of methods, the results is medium hazard. (5) At the end of this thesis, Jiang gou of Tahe village debris flow particularengineering preventive measures is proposed, it will provide a scientific basis to thedebris flow control.
