Uuder the condition of waterlogging stress, the growth, Photosynthetic charaeteristics, survival rate as well as the physiological biochemistry characteristics under the waterlogging stress. some results had been gained as the following.(1)After the course of waterlogging experiment, the survival rate of Sinojackia xylocarpa Hu is 100%. the waterlogger seedlings developed hypertrophied lenticels that can absorbed oxygen at their stem base.(2) At the earlier time of the waterlogging stress, Pn,Gs,Tr and Ci gradually decreased in different degrees. After waterlogged 10d, Ci Gs and Tr continued to decrease, but pn increased, this condition lasted until waterlogger the 20th day, pn began to decrease slowly. At the same time, Ci increased remarkably much more than the control. The coefficient analysis indicated that, between ci and pn,Gs,Tr, there was an obvious negative correlation. That shows, with prolonged waterlogged, the nonstomatal limitation played key role in the decline of the photosynthetic rate.(3)With prolonged waterlogging, Compared with control, there is no significant change in chlorophyll content,MDA content and proline content, but SOD,solubal protein content increased at the beginning then decreased, membrane relative conductivity decreased at the beginning then increased.During the waterlogging stress and drain experiment, with prolonged drain, except the Sinojackia xylocarpa of waterlogged 25d of which chlorophyll content, membrane relative conductivity and solubal protein can not return to the state of nonwaterlogging, the rest of different treatment of waterlogged time can return to common.(4)There was no significant trend regarding changes of hormone content in leave. At waterlogged 0-10d, IAA,ABA,GA has the same changes, but at 10-45d,there was an obvious negative correlation.
