The Study Of The Causes And Distribution Of Sinking Sandy Land In Inner Mongolia Wuzhumuqin Basin

The sinking sandy land distributes in the arid semi-humid areas, after the wind-election and removal, the sand deposits. As the material has not fully developed during the soil-forming process and it forms a thin layer of humus in the soil surface layer, the lower parts of the soil profile are all wind-accumulated parent material land types. This land type has not been studied carefully in our country. In order to understand the geography property of sinking sandy land, to help people understand this type of land better, and to help people living in this type of land Live and produce more scientifically, this article has been writen. The research object of this arcticle is sinking sandy land in Inner Mongolia Wuzhumuqin Basin. This research consis of two parts. The frist one is the distribution of sinking sandy land; The second one is the causes of sinking sandy land.1. The distribution of sinking sandy landDifferent habitats own different vegetation types. And different vegetation types have different absorption Spectrum. So, this article analyses the connection among the types of land, the types of vegetable and the imaging features, and analyses the large amounts of data of terrain, using the methods of GIS and remote sensing. All these works are to build interpretation keys about sinking sandy land. We hope these interpretation keys have a lower misdiagnosis rate. So,we can make a photo about distribution of sinking sandy land in Wuzhumuqin Basin.2. The causes of sinking sandy landAfter field investigation, we found that the parent material of sinking sandy land is homologous with sand in genetic principle. Both have a same formation process. So, there are lots of same parts and different parts between sinking sandy land and sandy land. To study the causes of sinking sandy land, we can use some principles and methods for sandy land study.
