The Research And Application Of WebGIS Data Sharing

With the rapid progress of computer technology,GIS development at an alarming rate.In particular,the emergence of Internet application technology,web applications enter millions of households,access to each daily lives of ordinary people.GIS has also been a greater demonstration of the stage and space.GIS has completely been changed,or that they have got a great extension.With the Internet's popularity,GIS through the Internet into the ordinary person's home,to meet the overwhelming majority of people in GIS (the so-called weak GIS) needs. WebGIS is a product of integration of Internet and GIS.It is based on Internet for information dissemination,data sharing and exchange and cooperation.The entire system uses B/S or C/S structure,to achieve GIS information on-line query and business process functions.Internet-based geographic information system is the use of Internet technology to expand and improve the GIS,a technology core of which is embedded in the GIS in the HTTP and TCP/IP standard application system.At present people are familiar with Google,Baidu,ESRI,Beijing is super-map.They have launched their own WebGIS product,in which Baidu map and Google map services better known, They launched their own maps services and Maps API for the different needs of customers.In this paper,through the design of Southwest University WebGIS data sharing platform demonstrated WebGIS-based data-sharing technology and its benefits.all functional departments can make use of the platform to provide data or services,reduce duplication of construction,space-based data updating and maintenance,focusing on their business data management,data and services can be embedded into the application of the respective departments in.Southwest University of WebGIS data-sharing platform provides a resource network sharing services-a new model,in this model remote sensing images,vector data information and sharing resources are interoperable.Southwest University WebGIS data sharing platform provides a standard development interface,the various functional departments in real-time access to remote sensing images,vector data and other basic data,and build their own business systems quickly.
