The Delimit Of Engineering Geological Disasters In Shanxi Province Based On GIS

Shanxi Province belongs to the interior province, which is located in the Yellow River middle reaches in the east of China northwest area. The domestic landform not only has the mountainous region and the plain, but also has the loess plateau. The geological structure is in the landform changeable second steps and ladders. The grain is high in south-north area while middle is low, inclining by the west to the east. Because of the function of specific geographical environment and the westerlies circulation enables the Shanxi area to become one of local that each kind of natural disaster frequently occurs. The entire province geological disasters mainly have the landslide, slide, mud-flow, surface collapse, surface subsidence and place crack and so on.The paper studies geological disasters of Shanxi Province in the point of system. On the basis of consulting material and investigation, the author summarizes the geological disaster type, scale and development feature of Shanxi Province. On this foundation, the author proposes the goal, principle, method of Shanxi Province geological disaster area. At the same time, according to the Shanxi Province geological environment as well as each geological disaster area in the different local weight difference quite major characteristic front, carrying on the risky area to the geological disaster to delimit, firstly dividing Shanxi Province into the North Shanxi area, the Central Shanxi area and the South Shanxi area three major parts, according to each area the geological disaster concretely to send the disaster factor, then carrying on respective area to delimit, finally merging a body forms the Shanxi Province geological disaster risky area to delimit the chart.On foundation of the above studies, bonding the Shanxi Province geological disaster the present situation and the characteristic, taking advanced GIS as the platform, using the computer to become the chart technology, establishing the Shanxi Province geology disaster risky area to delimit the chart department. This paper divide the Shanxi Province geology disaster risk into the high dangerous area, center the dangerous area, the low dangerous area and no-dangerous area, and has carried on the outline appraisal to it separately.
