Spatial Data Access And Integration In Spatial Information Grid

Grid technique applied in the spatial information science and surveying and mapping science technique realm produces the Spatial information Grid. The Spatial Information Grid is a network environment connects spatial data resources, calculation resources, saving resources, processing tools and softwares, and the distributed customers. In this environment, the system can unite and combine various distributing resources such as data, network and the processing software etc, connected to complete various data and processing require of the customers, making use of various resources of the spatial information system to provide the service, carrying out the valid share of the spatial information and operate with each other, provide the spatial information analysis processing and services.This thesis first introduces the basic concept and the development processes of grid and Spatial Information Grid, analysis the present research condition of grid, Spatial Information Grid, data access and integration in grid environment, put forward the research contents of this thesis.The second part of this thesis mainly discusses Spatial Information Grid and its correlative backbone technologies. Firstly, the paper introduces two grid platforms: Globus Toolkit and Vega. Then the paper compares three grid architectures(five layered fillers model, OGAS, WSRF). After that paper describes Web Services, OpenGIS specifications, OGSA-DAI in detail.The third part of this thesis elaborates the implement project of spatial data access and integration in Spatial Information Grid. First elaborates two kinds of spatial data saving and management method: One is based on 0040 and Oracle Spatial; Another is based on ADO and BLOB. In order to carry out the transparent access of spatial data, this thesis designed a kind of metadata model of the spatial data based on grid. Puts forward a kind of grid spatial data access and integration model, provide the united service joint to grid spatial data access and integration through grid. Expands OGSA- DAI to support spatial data.In the research of this thesis, set up a grid experiment environment on the foundation of GT4 and the OGSA- DAI 3.0, developed a spatial data access and integration experiment system, carry out spatial data access and integration in the grid environment.
