The family Rhinolophidae,contains only one genus,Rhinolophus, which includes 76 species.In this paper,nine species of Rhinolophus in Guizhou were examined by partially sequencing of mitochondrial 16S rRNA gene,the 16S rRNA gene sequences of R.affinis,R.sinicus,R.rex, R.ferrumequniml,Hipposideros larvatus and Hipposideros armiger were retrieved from GeneBank,and the sequences of the other six samples were amplified.With the Hipposideros larvatus and Hipposideros armiger as outgroup,the phylogentic trees were constructed using Bayesian,maximun-likelihood(ML),neighbor-joining(NJ)andmaximum-p arsimony(MP) methods.The phylogentic relations were analyzed among them.These results suggest:1.R.ferrumequnim was firstly separated as an independent clade,the results are consistent with other report using different molecular markers.The average genetic diatance of all nine Rhinolophus is 0.058,the average genetic diatance between two R. ferrumequnim is 0.023,the genetic diatance about eight Rhinolophus except for R.ferrumequnim is 0.051,and the genetic diatance between R. ferrumequnim and other eight Rhinolophus is 0.0769,which is the maximum in all data.So we draw a conclusion that R.ferrumequnim is possibly the most primary species among Rhinolophus and it should be determined as a new genus.2.R.sinicus and R.rex are close to each other, this indicated that there are close genetic relationship between R.sinicus and R.rex.3.the genetic distance between R.paradoxolophus and R sinicus is minimum.This indicated that there are close genetic relationship among them.
