GPS receiver has been the investigative focus,owing to its' extensive application and the wide prospects in the field of spaceflight,aviation,sea engineering,soil survey,land navigation and military navigation.Client parts of GPS system mainly consist of types of GPS receivers.The microprocessor in the receiver directly decides the whole performance of the receiver.The thesis dedicated to the study of embedded system based on ARM processor andμC/OS-Ⅱoperation system and its application in GPS receiver. The principle of GPS receiver design is introduced and the construction and function description of each hardware component of GPS receiver is analyzed.A pattern which complete the GPS base band processing with FPGA and ARM is designed.A hardware development environment is constructed.MicroC/OS-Ⅱ,the real-tine kernel is studied,three part ofμC/OS-Ⅱ's kernel,the processor the independent code,the processor specific code and application specific are analyzed.The processor specific code and the application specific code are analyzed and configured.The porting ofμC/OS-Ⅱbased on ARM processor has completed successfully. The software cross environment of compiling and debugging of the embedded system based on ARM LPC2290 andμC/OS-Ⅱis established. The interrupt and multitask are designed to implement GPS receiver's function,such as signal processing,navigating calculation and displaying. The GPS receiver application software is development completed.In conclusion,the design of hardware and software,the application of embedded system are detailed roundly.The core technology of embedded system was obtained.GPS receiver based on ARM is designed.
