Coal Waste Piles is one of the serious degenerative ecosystem,it's main constitute is coal wasting.Gangue is produced by the process of coal exploitation and washing selection,is one forth of industrial solid waste.The development for comprehensive utilization of gangue took thirty years about in China,limited by the situation of Chinese,the utilization of gangue is few, most of them will emission and there are still more new waste dumps.Due to coal waste piles special physical and chemical character,the environment of coal mine is destroyed very much,and many social and environmental problems come into being.So,vegetation restoration in gangue is an effective approach of the environment construction,and an important guarantee of sustainable development in mining area.In this research,we take many exhaust gangue in Shanxi Yangquan Coal Group as an example,analyzed the status of vegetation recovery in coal gangue,natural vegetation growth is the main species restoration.Soil improved effects are studied in the process of vegetation restoration from observation in the fixed position and experiment on the spot.The results that soil improved effects of re-vegetation in coal waste piles are obvious.1) With the year of re-vegetation is long and long,vegetation naturally restoration in coal gangue is also increasing,such as the vegetation's coverage and categories.2) The time of stopping discharging gangue for ten years,the local herbaceous plants will grow naturally,then form sparse lawn vegetable.After thirty years,the woody plant emergence.For the condition of a sort,the herbaceous plant is main invasive species.Without artificial intervention,the progress of re-vegetation is very slow.3) By the means of ecological observation,field test and laboratory experiment,analyzed the physical characters of soil and the changes of nutrition by the numbers.As a result,re-vegetation is remarkable to the soil improvement,especially the deposition of efficient element.4) Gangue burning completely has an advantage over that of without spontaneous combustion and being spontaneous combustion;in the coal gangue without spontaneous combustion,coal gangue with vegetation is better than that of without vegetation.5) As the length of stop discharging the gangue,available nitrogen(N),available potassium(K) stepped up,whereas available phosphorus(P) decreases irregularly.The nutrition of gangue with vegetation has an advantage over that of without it;in conclusion,re-vegetation will accelerate the efflorescent process.Meanwhile,the experiment of inhomogeneous coal gangue's potted plants shown that the shallow soil have less infection on the germination of Medicago sativa,and more diversities in harvest after one month.Reveal:the vegetation in the complete burning and without spontaneous combustion,the growth of vegetation preponderates others;being burning is unsuitable. Medicago sativa's rate of emergence and survival precede Cichorium intybus Linn,therefore Medicago sativa was selected as the pioneer plant species for reforestation on gangue hill.
