This articl has introduced the system about the campus geography information of WebGIS, mainly is completed preliminarily on the foundation ,that is concerned with many fields such as WebGIS technology, JAVA technology and database technology into campus geography information systematic design with realization. Carry out system emphatically for the technical feature of WebGIS if issuing system, structure method and development platform to study , and realize WebGIS information for now to issue and the major technology of customer end application function development include general gateway interface ( CGI ), server applies program interface ( ServerAP1 ), the technologies such as ActiveX and java Applets is compared and analysed. Put forward the technical scheme of realization finally on the foundation that carries out trade off study for general WebGIS development platform.This system has realized some basic map functions , reduces if enlarging , hawk eye and picture layer are controled with the functions such as inquiry.
