Nowadays, "Teaching for Transfer" is the consensus of many educational workers. Transfer is important in mathematics study. The research on using the rules of transfer reasonably to mathematics teaching can make the existing transfer theory and mathematics education theory rich and perfect, give rise to further importance about transfer, guide the practice of mathematics teaching availably.At first, this article expound the transfer theory and mathematics education theory, know the essence of transfer from the eastern holistic philosophy, propose the "Ï€" model of learning transfer, point out the key role of transfer in the whole learning procese, see transfer everywhere in mathematics education theory.Then it probes how to use the rules of transfer reasonably to mathematics teaching in three stages as apperceive, understanding and application in mathematics study. It includes that to activate suitable situation, torientate the students towards active observation, construct extensive connection, raise the level of knowledge generalizing, organize exercise scientifically, strengthen the teaching of problem solving, and so on, mathematics ideas and methods run through it.Finally, it gives illustrations of instructional design and experiment whitch use the rules of transfer availably, indicating that mathematics research study and heuristic mode of teaching are very favorable for the use of transfer, can make good teaching effect.This article try to think roundly, well-bedded, reasonably structured, stand out the focal and key points, show the characteristics of using the rules of transfer to mathematics teaching.
