A Taxonomic Study On The Genus Lonicera In Henan Province

In this paper, the brief history and the current condition in the classification of the genus Lonicera Linn. have been reviewed and summarized. The taxonomic research and the value of the use of resoures on the genus Lonicera Linn. in Henan have been studied.By identifying the specimens and studing the literature, I confirmed the species are add up to 20 species and 3 subspecies and 2 varieties, which belong to 2 subgenus and 4 sections. Two of them, L. L. retusa Franch. and L. hemsleyana (O. Ktze.) Rehd., are newly-recordes in Henan province. Four names have been revised in Flora of Henan as follows:L. microphylla Willd. ex Roem. et Schult. had been treated wrongly of L. serreana Hand.-Mazz.; L. oblata Hao ex Hsu et H. J. Wang had been treated wrongly of L. hemsleyana (O. Ktze.) Rehd.; L. tatarinowii Maxim. had been treated wrongly of L. nervosa Maxim.; L. szechuanica Batal had been treated wrongly of L. schneideriana Rehd.. Added 1 autonym of sect.: Lonicera. Author ensure L. gynochlamydea Hemsl. in Flora of Henan was not distributed in Henan.Moreover, an artificial key to the species of Lonicera in Henan was made. The distridutions and habits have been recorded. Some species have been also briefly discussed. The geographical mape of several narrow distribution species in Henan were made.
