Research On A Data Model Of AS/RS On Logistics

Considerable amount of work has been done theoretically and practically on the informatization of AS/RS. In terms of the entire process monitoring and analysis of storage, however, its application is yet at the incipient stage. Freight and the shelves are often the order of dynamic change, and the storage can be new, merged, divided, and hiring the right to be transferred, various types of spatial data is highly time-sensitive. Due to the temporal-spatial nature of warehouse, it is ideal to use Geographic Information System (GIS) for its management. Therefore, it is imperative to establish a Warehouse Geographic Information System(WGIS) for the logistics industry. The design of the data model is essential to the functioning of any information system. The overwhelming task to establish a spatial-temporal informiation system of logistics, therefore, is to rigorously design a spatio-temporal model which can meet the requirement for spatio-temporal data query and analysis.AS/RS is a very complicated process, and this research is only to study its spatio-temporal rules in a preliminary way, and to make theoretical abstraction on AS/RS's core target the spatio-temporal movement of shelf, freight space and cargoes. This paper presents the surveys and studies of object-oriented and spatio-temporal data model via event-driven rnethodogies. It defined the AS/RS spatio-temporal objects with the object-oriented view, designed the AS/RS spatio-temporal data model. It organized the spatio-temporal data model by aggregated and composited the AS/RS' spatio-temporal objects. At last, based on the model, the WGIS is designed and completed, in which operations such as appending, updating, deletions and storage of spatio-temporal information can be implemented successfully. Finally, this paper realized the AS/RS spatio-temporal data query and analysis, validated this model.The main research results of this paper included the following four aspects:(1) Revealed and expressed the rules of spatial and temporal changes of the AS/RS.(2) Defined the AS/RS's spatio-temporal objects. Built an object-oriented AS/RS spatio-temporal data model and implemented complex spatial objects processing and its temporal and spatial relationships of consistency, which can expressed various of spatio-temporal changes of AS/RS effectively.(3) Implemented the AS/RS spatio-temporal query and spatio-temporal analysis and the warehouse regional distribution historical graphics backtrack.(4) Implemented the AS/RS' three-dimention visualization.
