Analyzes of the landscape pattern change is the research hotspot of the landscape ecology at present. Landscape pattern indicates the interaction result of a various natural, biologic, and social ecotypic process in the different space and measure, and decides how the all sorts of naturally environmental elements distribute or combine in the landscape space for restricting the different ecotypic process, and affecting the internal transformation of landscape about energy stream or substance stream. Thus, it is effective to comprehend the ecological process according to researching landscape pattern. To analyze the changes of landscape pattern along with times could not only reflect its ecotypic process, but also reveal the system and rule of landscape alternation that implementing the sustainable use of resource.The data of remote sensing with the characteristics of wide cover, fast update, are effective to investigate landscape pattern and dynamic process by designing and comparing the remote sensing of landscape in different periods. Therefore researching the landscape pattern and its changing trend is the foundation for how to reasonable mix the nature or human influence, how to construct the landscape distribution in safe ecosphere, how to issue the effective decision about ecosphere protection and administration. This article, which is relative to landscape of Liangzi Lake Basin, and base on ecosphere principle of landscape, integrates the RS and GIS technique to combine the existing land use with the statistical information. So that it could investigate the changing trend of landscape distribution that start with quantification analysis in the three different landscape periods.Although the largest area of the plantation pattern decreased, but it is still matrix of study area , Landscape pattern index changes of various types of landscape have significant difference. The landscape of Liangzi Lake Basin had been increasingly crashing over the past 20 years because of the increased population, boosting investment about foundational development, and the rapidly expanded field in construction. The plantation, was invaded and divided into construction field and fish ponds that the whole landscape has changed to more complex was why Liangzi Lake Basin's landscape fractal dimension was up to 1.7014 in 2005 from 1.6404 in 1987.The increasingly edge density of landscape demonstrated that the landscape has been dividing by borderline more and more over time during 2005.Both of the landscape diversity index and the landscape evenness index a certain extent rise, respectively increase from 1.4339 and 0.6526 to 1.4799 and 0.6735,it means that the heterogeneity of the study area landscape increase, differences of the proportion of types of landscape components area becomes narrow , each component in the landscape uniformly distribute, one or more of visual component advantages less and less, the overall landscape greater impact by human activities, but human disturbance doesn't cause the disappearance of the a large number of landscape elements, only the redistribute the elements.According to the study, applying RS to investigate landscape distribution is a feasible measure to analyze multi-period landscape pattern and its dynamic changes. This article analyzed the spatial pattern and evolvement rules of every kind of landscape types recent years in study area. It is significant to achieve the continuable development of landscape and improve the construction of entironment.
