Marine engineering geologic investigation is one of important components in oceanographic survey, and it is important for studying the seabed structure and its evolution. With development of IT, more and more marine engineering geological data have been obtained, resulting in a very large amount of data management and processing. Based on the framework of environment engineering geology theory, this thesis makes good use of computer technology and methods to design more rational and effective system for data management, storing and analysis. Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to evaluate the engineering geologic condition. As an example, the Seabed Geo-investigation Environment Integrated Information System (SGE) system is used on engineering geological data management and analysis in Chengdao Oil Field.The application of mathematics theory and computer technology in ocean engineering geologic investigation will improve the scientificalness of data arrangement, the rationality of data utilization and the availability of data processing. At the meantime, it obviously promotes the development of revealing ocean geological rules and describing marine geological phenomenon scientifically.The main idea of the thesis originates from the project of"Chengdao Oil Field Seabed Engineering Geologic Environment Integrated Information System Research". This system integrates various marine engineering geological investigation data, realizes scientific and normative data management, including engineering geological investigation data, bathymetric data, sub-bottom profile data and liquefaction hazards data, et. al. and builds database for these datum. According to the spatial distribution characteristics of engineering geologic environment elements, this system supplies man-machine interactive comprehensive analysis processing, providing useful information for marine project planning, geological hazards prevention and control, management decision-making et. al. .While collecting and arranging the oceanographic survey datum, this system was used to evaluate the engineering geological environment of Chengdao Oil Field sea area. Based on the engineering geological condition, this sea area was divided into 5 zones: excellent engineering zone, better engineering zone, medium engineering zone, worse engineering zone and worst engineering zone. It can provide beneficial information and decision-making services for marine engineering construction et al. .
