The Hopf Bifureation Of HIV Model With Delay

In this paper we study the HIV model with time delay. Based on [7], we analyze the Hopf bifurcation of the system which take the delay as a parameter, and we obtain that under the condition of the existence of positive equilibrium, the system will appear Hopf bifurcation, we compare the results of ordinary differential equations and retarded functional differential equations. Furthermore, we obtain the calculating formulas about the direction of Hopf bifurcation, the stability of bifurcation periodic solution by applying the center manifold theorem and the normal form theory.
