This article is based on the fish live in the lakes in Tibet ,and the river of Jinsha River, Nu River, Brahmaputra and Lantsang which flow through Tibet, according to collecting the available literature, visiting the sample storing room, out door inspecting, we arranged some biological information data including the species ,classification , Latin scientific name, morphological characteristic, the proof for species exist, the statue for protecting and preserving, the chief echoic value and distribution et al. By investigation on the spot and samples identification ,we get some photos of fish habitat, living fish and samples. We get some specimen information including the whole length ,body length, body weight, collecting time, collecting site, longitude and latitude, altitude and so on by researching on the samples. Summarizes the study situation on biodiversity information system, database technique and fish in Tibet. At last ,made a use of SQL database to manage all the data, and composed a website about Tibet Fish Information System, which you can visit and share it freely by registering on www.tibetfish.cn or www.xzfishbase.cn.The contains of this system(1) From integrating some books such as The Fish and It's Resource in Tibet ,The Fish in Qingzang Plateau ,The Fish in Hengduan Mountain Arae and the documents got by investigation on the spot, we conclude that there has 78 fish, belong to 3 categories 4 families 8 subfamilies 27 genera. The subfamily of Schizothoracinae and Nemacheilinae has 39 and 17 species which take up 69.94% and 26.56% of the total number of Tibet fish respectively , that the two groups hold 87% above, and the plateau fish such as Schizothoracinae seize the absolute dominance on the type and number composing.(2) The simple faunal component of the Tibet fish and the complexity of the water-system set up a animal geography unit with the characteristic of unity and uniqueness. The unit was composed of 3 classes: Schizothoracinae, Nemacheilinae and Sisoridae, the main member were Schizothoracinae and Nemacheilinae, which belong to the complex of central Asia plateau with the same geographic genesis.(3) Introduced the research status and orientation of future development for the bio-diversity system, summarized the phylogeny of the database technique,succession of inquest hierarchy, tendency for database development and superiority to choose language PHP, explained the research status in detail from the aspects of classification , morphology, genetics, molecular biology et al.(4) The information system of databank composed of species inquest, sample inquest, the list of the relate literatures, administer system and the system introduction .You can the get the species information by Chinese specific name, Latin specific name, Chinese generic name ,the family name in Chinese et al single item inquest or combine inquest. From your request you can get the items including species number, category name in Chinese, family name in Chinese, subfamily name, Chinese generic name, Chinese specific name, Latin specific name, characteristic delineation, provenance, distribution, the proof for present, the protection level for the species, the status of species conservation, the main economic value , exploitation status ,photos and so on , and the directory of Tibet fish were list in detail.
