Study On Value Of Science

In the 20th century,science has developed by leaps and bounds.although science is pushing human society forward ,its negative effect has resulted in many global problems ,the human are facing to environment pullution ,ecology unbalance ,agene technology and cloning man in the front of victory .which makes man confront the alternative of life or death. Whether in China or in the West, the role of Ethics guiding the development of science and technology has become more and more pale. In order to make the 21st century science develop healthily, it is necessary to question the value of science in a comprehensive review.To analyse reasonably if science is value-free, it is not impossible to relate to the semantic clarification of the value and the scientific value, which is the key, is also the starting point. Because the clear concept is the basis and prerequisite of research. scientific value is a system containing multiple values ,such as material value and spiritual value,objective value and instrument value,meanwhile they produce negative effects. the neutralism of scientific value is the important issue . the value neutrality of science is regarded as course of variation.there were some different opinions in different periods.from historical dimension this article is discussing the raising and the feature ,and the critical views of the neutralism of scientific axiology in the history of contemporary philosophy.the neutralism of scientific value is dialectally analyzed.the law of identity of science is the value neutrality ,it has be historical and realistic significance.Then, from the activity itself of modern scientific research, organization and purpose, as well as science and technology has even become one of the typical characteristics of that: modern scientific research has ceased to be neutral but supported the value. the fundamental way of scientific value realization is only by relying on the people as the main ,meanwhile strengthening the dialogue between science culture and literacy culture, Adhering to the unity of the scientific tools and value of purpose,Maintaining basic and applied research in the balance. The realization of the scientific value have in particular practical significance in modern China.Science has an important role in the promotion of the comprehensive development of human, promoting the comprehensive development of human is the ultimate value of science.At last, from the fundamental ethical principles of the scientific activities, the dialectical relationship of moral constraint and freedom of scientific research, the Ethical Reflection for the scientific value-laden, scientists must undertake moral responsibility,it advocates among the government, scientists and the public.
