With China's rapid development of mobile communications, repeater stations have been widely used in wireless mobile network, due to its high cost-effectiveness and ease of construction. However, once the repeater station breaks down or improper adjustment of parameters occurs, the entire network would be seriously affected even lead to paralysis. Therefore, the reliability and maintainability of repeater station are very important.This thesis is a set of solution for designing the repeater station monitoring and management system. The daily monitoring and management of the repeater station is realized in B / S mode in the system, with relatively complete functions. Managers can obtain various real-time working parameters of repeater station through the Web pages, and acquire and analyze the failure information in the first time. This system can distribute order of examining the repeater station. The equipments' maintenance efficiency and quality can be improved and the long-term and stable operation of equipment is ensured.In the paper, the state-of-the-art and prospective of repeater station is investigated firstly, followed by the analysis of functional and data standards on the repeater station by China Mobile Companies. Secondly, key technologies are researched on the realization of these technologies in the system. Finally, a solution of repeater station monitoring and management based on Web GIS is proposed. The map function is realized by integrating the popular Web GIS technology with repeater station monitoring and management system based on MapXtreme for java. Besides the realization of the system, a cutting-edge technology, Ajax, is introduced in the system so as to optimize the front-end realization.A comprehensive repeater station monitoring and management system based on Web GIS is established in the thesis, which can achieve the design requirements and functional indices.
