Landslide hazard is a serious natural hazard next only to earthquake and floodwater. In China,70% of the area is covered by mountains where landslide hazard happens frequently and densely.China is among those countries stricken most by this hazard.This hazard gives rise to loss with a total value of hundreds of millions yuan and great damages to the country and people's lives and propertise.In order to measure the influence of hazard on life and property,a risk evaluation theory needs to be applied to.And a decision theory is necessary to design an economical and effective treatment scheme.Based on the review of the analysis methods of slope stability and a lot of knowledge, such as geomechnies,elasto-plastic mechanies,nonlinear finite element method(FEM), probability theory and mathematics statistics,reliability mathematies,computer science are studied in detail.In this article,research on risk evaluation and optimal decision-making of treatment schemes of landslide hazard to reduce loss and expenditure in dealing with this hazard,The research result is of both thecretical and practical significance.Main achievements and conclusions are as follows.(1) The geology hazard research of the investigation area: The study area is located at the Lvchun county of the Ailao mountain which is the serious zone of the hazard in the Yunnan province.In the research area,the climate is moist, the average rainfall is over 2000mm during the rainy season and the abundant of river pass through it. The conditions of the landforms is complicated.The main character of the rocks are the mudstone,the sandstone,the feldspar quarz sandstone and the slate.All the elements are lead to the hazard .(2) Based on the limited balance methods research on the stability of slope: The assumptions,definition of safety factor,precision and limitation of the limit equilibrium slice methods used in slope stability analysis have been explored.And,the sensibility of degree of slope and gravity of soil on slope stability has been analyzed with limit equilibrium slice methods.Furthermore,the practicability of different limit equilibrium slice methods have been contrasted studied with some slope examples.(3) The risk evaluation of landislide hazard using the analytical hierarchy process: The AHP which is based on the comprehensive analysis of different factors is used to analyzed the hazard.The preliminary Method also is used to the Danger Assessment and the Risk Assessment.And the quantitative method and the relation of different hazard affected objects are considered to gain the expressions of risk assessment.It also perfects the method of the Risk Assessment.
