Among the many new science titles available today, the unification of science, art, ethics, and religion seems to be a contemporary theme. revolutionary advances in the natural sciences and in the study of consciousness, the concepts of matter, life, and mind have under-gone major changes. Laszlo synthesize cutting-edge thought in various scientific disciplines while adding their own interpretations of a holistic, creative universe. Laszlo's focusing on physics, not only reviews the work of farsighted thinkers including Bohm and Heisenberg, but makes his own contribution. In his treatise, Laszlo finds all contemporary theories lacking and explores possible ways around the problems he sees. He presents a list of paradoxes which are not resolved by either conventional science or by these contemporary theories. He suggests that these paradoxes can be understood if we consider the possibility of subtle connections between all elements in the universe. To the accepted four universal fields in physics: gravitation, electromagnetism and the strong and weak nuclear forces, Laszlo suggests a fifth field which is everywhere and out of which everything arises and returns. This field provides the subtle connections that hold the universe together and allow it to operate as a system. He shows how this idea is consistent with, but goes beyond, the work of Bohm, Brian Goodwin, Rupert Sheldrake, Stanislav Grof, and A. S. Popov. He calls the fifth field 'universal holofield' (psi field), via which explains diverse anomalies from the conundrums of quantum physics and sudden leaps in complexity during biological evolution to human consciousness and even ESP. Laszlo shines a flashlight on four areas of science—the evolution of the universe (cosmology), the nature of matter (quantum physics), life (biological evolution) and consciousness (cognitive science). He has convincingly shown that some of the insights of traditional spirituality may lead us to new scientific understanding. And he tries to show that if we look at things from a systemic point of view, in the 'holofield', it will all make sense.Laszlo's. work draws on concepts of contemporary physics to propose the quantum vacuum as the unitary basis of psyche and matter. Contemporary physics accepts the quantum vacuum as the origin of all matter and energy. Laszlo proposes that it is also an information field—"the holographic memory of the universe." Laszlo's contribution draws together the strands of established science with the unexplained paradoxes of mind, life and the mind. This holofield, as Laszlo calls it, is a real and significant element, and is transmits "in-formation". . . .All that happens in one place happens also in other places; all that happened at one time happens also at all times after that. . . .All things are global, indeed cosmic, for the memory of all things extends to all places and all times. . . .the truly remarkable feature of the informed universe ... is that everything that happens in it affects—"informs"—everything else.On research of Ervin Laszlo and the his universal holofield theory, we found that the universal holofield theory contains philosophical significance: It has broken the existing mode of modern science, which is based on "Mechanism", and unified the natural science and the social science organically.Laszlo's contribution draws together the strands of established science with the unexplained paradoxes of mind, life and the mind.It makes the "pluralism" re- return to people's visual field. It shows us the essence of cosmos is not standing alone "one", but lead to a vivid, full of emotion, "pluralistic" evolution road.It developed a new way of "evolve" for the "ontology".It makes us re- estimate the position of "Tao", and lead us to a uniform, evolutive way, and continue to go forward.
