As experimental animal, mice were being used widly in many subject fields such as genetics, physiology, pharmacology, medicine, veterinary and so on. But with the deeply increasing development on genetics and related fields, the common mouse inbred strains which were mostly bred from European strain represent some defects such as single DNA structure, limited biological multiformity, and especially it was unconvenient for the application of biomolecular method in gene detection and another aspects. Thus researchers focused more and more on the exploitation of lab animal by different wild mouse species or subspecies, and breeding of inbred strains from wild mice, and these would become a new, pretty actived research field gradually. This experiment aimed at capture and investigation of wild mouse in Henan Xinyang Dongzhai nature reserve, and made out the primary demonstration of lab animal exploitation.By experiment, five kinds of wild mouse were captured, wrote down the capture location of every mouse accurately and analysed statistically the distribution of every kind of mouse under wild environment;measured the body index and evaluated the breeding value by comparing with the common lab mouse strains; did the genetical molecular detection on wild mice and common lab mice with microsatellite DNA markers, primarily proved differences in their genetical constitution, domesticated the wild mice for establishing the base for the lab exploitation of wild animal resource. The experimental results showed as follows:1.Captured wild mice and the results of taxology:captured 54 wild mice of every kind.Did the taxonomy identification according to the classified standard, finally these wild mice were devided into five species, two genus in Muridae, they were Apodemus agrarius(Muridae,Apodemus),Rattus norvegicus,Rattus nitidus,Rattus niviventer and Rattus flavipectus(Muridae,Rattus)respectively.2.Statistical analysis of the body data and evaluation of breeding value: statistically analysed the body data of every kind of wild mice, compared with the lab common mouse strains and evaluated primarily the breeding value according to the standards such as small figure, better reproduction, easy to operate and so on.The results showed there was no significant difference between Apodemus agrarius and the lab mice in body data, breeding value of the Apodemus agrarius was better, and it was appropriate to carry on lab animal exploitation.3.Microsatellite DNA molecular detection:detected the five kinds of wild mice and lab common mice by microsatellite DNA molecular detection, the results showed that there were many differences in genetical constitution between wild mice and lab mice,it will rich the lab materials and the research content if the lab domestication succeeded.4.The ecological distribution of every kind of wild mouse:drew their ecologically distributing figure by statisticing captured location of every kind of wild mice, the results showed:the most distribution in the mountain was Rattus niviventer,in field was Apodemus agrarius,Rattus niviventer and Rattus norvegicus,in residential area was Rattus norvegicus,Rattus flavipectus.5.Lab domestication of wild mouse:we made the wild mice adapt to the lab feeding basically by reasonable controlling of light, temperature and supporting wild-like environment, but there were some difficulties in mating experiment and the females were bit to death was happaned,we analysed the reason was because of strong domainizing characteristic of wild mice, and the wild mice which were not in the oestrum would fight with each other for the realm until the rival died.
