Studies On The Theories And Practice Of Scenic Byway Of Jixi County, AnHui Province

Scenic byway, as a particular landscape road which combines the function of both traveling and traffic, possessing the transportation value, the landscape value,the recreational value,the historical value,the cultural value,the natural value,the archeological value and so on. Scenic byway is playing more and more important role in protecting ecological environment, promoting natural-humanities resources'attraction, meeting the esthetic amusement and recreational need, optimizing the design of road in city ,drawing the growth of the community economy and so on. Scenic byway has gained a huge development in western countries like north American and western Europe, and has formed an important territory of research with abundant fruits,but the research of Scenic byway in domestic is still at the start stage,only has the minority practice case as exploration. But the landscape appraisal analysis has the important significance to the Scenic byway plan,which is the core content of Scenic byway planning,designing and management.On the base of systematically analyzing the newest theory, the method and the practice of Scenic byway and landscape appraisal at home and abroad,this dissertation elaborates the concept and type of Scenic byway , then from tourists' angle,selects appraisal factors which can represent landscape characteristic of Scenic byway and have an vital significance to landscape design. Take this as the foundation,the author has established the appraisal index system of Scenic byway. Take the Jixi County in Anhui province as a case,the dissertation gains the dates of landscape appraisal of the candidate road utilizing"Equal Distance Visual Assessment by Expert Team (EDVAET)",and analyzes existence questions of constructing the Scenic byway in Jixi county using the appraisal result. Simultaneously the article give some suggestions on planning and construction of Scenic byway and finally point out that it is a great significance to construct a Scenic byway in Jixi County .The dissertation is divided into five chapters:In Chapter 1,the author discusses the cause of study on the base of it,then the study purpose,meaning,frame,and methods of the article have been presented. Give the detailed introduction to the case and the research route.In Chapter 2,the author elaborates related concept system of Scenic byway and landscape of Scenic byway. Then the author presents the literature review of appraisal of Scenic byway at home and abroad,looks back the sequence on the study of landscape appraisal of Scenic byway.In Chapter 3,on the foundation of selecting appraisal factors,the author has established the appraisal index system of Scenic byway. Then,giving some explanations to the later case research about Landscape appraisal method.In Chapter 4,taking the Jixi County in Anhui province as the case,and point out the vital significance of constructing the Scenic byway .the dissertation gains dates of landscape appraisal of the candidate roads utilizing"Equal Distance Visual Assessment by Expert Team (EDVAET)", and analyzes existence questions,suggestions of constructing the Scenic byway in Jixi county .In Chapter 5,main conclusion and discussion.
