To prevent and father waterlogging in urban from rainstorm has become more and more important and it should be taken into account comprehensively in urban development planning. Therefore, all over the world concern urban waterlogging disasters, and a lot of countries develop correlative research in different degree. In developed countries, urbanization phenomenon appears earlier, and the underway research on risk characteristic, evolvement rule,integrated prevention and cure countermeasure of urban waterlogging disaster is also earlier, they have obtained harvest that can be used for reference.With the scientific methods, establishing risk information systems of flood prevention that cause monitoring,forecast,disaster risk estimation of urban rainstorm flood to be integrative,can fleetly provide exact measures and gists for disaster reduction of controlling flood and removing waterlogging for leaders of all levels and correlative departments. At the same time,the waterlogging disaster simulation on rainstorm process in different return period grade,can also provide quite important scientific gists for urban rational planning and preventing disaster.Besides, in recent years, meteorological department has made quite great progress in multifold forecast technology such as rain situation monitoring, estimation and mathematical weather forecast and so on,The more application of these methods is advantageous to improve the capability of that system for monitoring,forecast,disaster risk estimation of urban rainstorm waterlogging.Through collecting basic space information in Wuhan city such as city geography, riverway terrain, engineering constructions,weather monitoring, prevent waterlogging scheduling and so on, using ArcView GIS geographic information system software to manage these information, and regarding FORTRAN language program as calculation tool, this paper constructs integrated mathematical model about rainstorm waterlogging of Wuhan city. The model reflects rainfall distribution, runoff yielding and water routing principle, surface runoff, riverway open channel river, weir flow, water drop, pipelines pressurized flow, pipelines free surface flow, the transition process from pressurized flow to free surface flow, and manifold engineering instances such as the phenomenon of discharge from ground to pipeline and water gushing from pipeline to ground, and their interlinkage problem. Simultaneously, in order to realize the conversion between the basic space information data and used data by simulation model, the paper designs the interface between ArcView GIS and simulational model.After selecting typical rainstorm example as rainfall boundary condition, applying these to model for calculation, we compare the result of model and measure, and analyze the absolute error and error distribution characteristic of both. Through analyzing error distribution characteristic and the cause, modifying data, and improving on calculation methods, the error between calculation and measure result becomes smaller and smaller.
