Gannan area, where the researched area lies, has complicated and unusual geological environment and is one of places where gravelly soil is most seriously growing of our country. The characters of gravelly soil are controlled by various factors, however, the degree of the research is not deep enough and can not meet the the demand of the advanced building construction. So, it's necessary to make a special study of the character of gravelly soil.Under the plan of power transportation from western to the east during the Nation's Eleventh Five Years Plan and due to the consigh to Gansu Electric Power Desigh Insititute ,the thesis is suppored by The Loads Test And Character Study Of Gravelly Soil Colappsillity Of The 330kv Transformer Substation, Luoda Gannan. Here the character of gravelly soil is a research objective. Based on the former datum, field renaissance and mapping and test, analyzing in the room, the geological background and the existing environment of gravelly soil has been greatly predominated. Formation Mechanism of gravelly soil has been discussed through using geological history analysis method. The whole history formation process has been basically reappeared. Based on which, the character of gravelly soil has also been valued by geological history genetic analysis, limiting equilibrium and numerical analysis.The study area is a lacustrine sedimentary, siltation, slope soils formed by geological forces, control. The morphological characteristics and the nature of the projects is very complex. Sunken and platform features in the study area show it is still and will continue to be deposition consolidation historical stage. Geophysical exploration data in the study area showed different depth appears lenses, and will continue to deposit; Genetic mechanism is very complicated, Compared to other parts of the stone formation it has its own characteristics, and there are many formation conditions and factors. Mechanism of evolution model will last longer; geological analysis reveals gravelly soil deposition trends will continue, Limit balance method, numerical calculation analyses the stress distribution, some engineering mechanics indicators and the impact to the construction.Finally, integrating the land-based gravel soil characteristics and causes and the scheme and the way corresponding to the mechanism of the nature of the works of the evaluation, methods. a scientific use for reference for the project to is provided in gravel soil land. And also, this will afford the treatment of reference for other areas of land-based aggregates in the construction process.
