Study Of The Flora And Forest Vegetation In The JinZhongshan Nature Reserve Of Guangxi

The work reported in this thesis focused on study of Plant diversity in the JinZhongshan nature reserve of Guangxi. Detailed results are as follows:JinZhongshan nature reserve have 1487 species of higher plant belonging to 725 generas in 193 families, among whick there were 122 species of ferns belonging to 63 generas in 33families ,7 species of gymnospermae plants belonging to 4 generas in 3 families and 1357 species of angiospermae plants belonging to 658 generas in 157 families. 160 spermatophyte families in this flora can be classified to 11 areal-types, among them, 49 families are of cosmopolitan character (30.63% of the total families), 79 families are of tropic character (49.35% of the total families), 32 families are of temperate character (20.00% of the total families). In the ingredient of generas there are 48 generas belonging to cosmopolitan character, 404 generas belong to tropic character (65.80% of the total generas),197 generas belonging to temperate character( 32.08% of the total generas) .The forest vegetation in Natural Reserves was classified according to the Chinese Vegetation Classification System as well as Numerical Classification. There are wall needle-leaved forest, wall deciduous broad-leaved forest, evergreen and deciduous broad-leaved forest, evergreen broad-leaved forest, bamboo thichet, which include 27 forest communites. With the elevation increasing, the forest vegetation formed four zonations, they are Ravine deciduous broad-leaved forest, Ravine evergreen broad-leaved forest, evergreen and deciduous broad-leaved forest, Montane evergreen broad-leaved forest and montane boradlevaed Elfin forest.Based on the date from 15 typical communities, species richesss, eveness and species diversity of plant communities in Jingzhongshan Mountain were discussed. The indexes order of plant communities was that evergreen and deciduous broad-leaved forest>evergreen broad-leaved forest>wall needle-leaved forest> wall eciduous broad-leaved forest>bamboo thichet.The specises richness and diversity index increased and downned with the increase of elevation. The species richness of shrub stratum were more than that of tree stratum and herb stratum . As for the evergnees ,there are not obvious change in the three stratum.
