A Study On The Optimization Of Integrated Supply Chain In One Of Manufactory

This study is focused on the strategies of IIPC Supply Chain, its challenges and solutions with the concept of integrated Lean Supply Chain, Lean Logistics and Operations Management of Customizd Mass Production.Through the analysis of IIPC's business environment, we found that IIPC must adjust its supply chain strateries to"Optimized Total Cost"which includes Timing Cost and"Customized Products"to better support IBM's"On-demand Supply Chain"for a better space to be surviving and continuously growing.At present, IIPC has two kinds of different Supply Chain Models for on-shore and off-shore business respectively. On-shore supply chain is called as"Push Supply Chain"with the mode of Mass Produciton while the off-shore business is using"Pull Supply Chain"with the mode of Customized Mass Production.The new strategies will eliminate the negative impact in the supply chain.So that LIPC can accomplish the goal of high quality customer model in the optimization total cost. In the other hand,we need reduce the total cost of production and raw materials/finished goods and time cost of delivery leadtime to integrate supply Chain.And remedy the cost of production which caused by low efficiency of production.We also create a new model to measure the cost of manpower for resoving the contravention between rigidity of manufacture line and flexible of customer`s volume production.Try to resolve the challenge of higt cost of raw materials logistic,we analysis the logic strategy of raw materials,temp inv/VMI inventory/inventory on the way to figure out the way.In the viw of total cost point of view,we try to get the optimized solution among thousands of possible solutions about finished goods'distribution .In this study, by studying on real data of IIPC, with the concept of optimazation of total supply chain cost including timing cost and other traditional manufacturing and logistics costs, through the methods of comparison and analysis combining with Mathmatics Optimization Model, we explored the strategies of IIPC, its challenges and solutions or suggestions.Hopefully, this study can help IIPC get better optimization on its Supply Chain Management and provide some help for other domestic manufacturing companies on this area.
