Ecosystem plays an important role in climate changes, especially in the processes of energy exchange between the surface and atmospheric system and biogeochemical processes. On one hand, climate change will impact the survival and distribution of vegetation, the land cover, and the changes of surface reflectivity in regional or global. On the other hand, such changes in regional areas may result in the changes in the hydrological and heat cycle, and the influence climate change. Therefore, the study of the interaction between ecosystems and climate change is of vital importance in the forecast for the climate system.By using the temperature, the precipitation records observed from variousstations in Shanxi Province, and the NDVI data 1981-2001, with the K-means algorithm and SPSS software, paired test of temperature and the precipitation are made in different periods of 1961-1990 and 1971-2000 for climate region redividing in Shanxi Province. The main distribution patterns are obtained of temperature and precipitation with EOF method. Wavelet analysis is used to analyze the changes in cycle time factors. The correlation and partial correlation analysis are used to discuss in detail the relationship between the vegetation ecosystems and climate change. The main conclusions are as follows:Firstly, the changes of temperature increase and precipitation decrease occurred in 1989 in Shanxi Province. The difference in temperature and precipitation between 1971-2000 and 1961-1990 is obvious. The temperature raised 0.215℃, the precipitation decreased 37.92mm. The wavelet analysis of the time factor of empirical orthogonal decomposition shows that the first volume features exist a cycle of about 25 years and 35 years.Secondly, by using SPSS software, the climate regions in Shanxi are redivided into four areas, the first including Yangquan, Taiyuan and Luliang, the second including Yuncheng and Jincheng, and the third main including Datong, Shuozhou...
