Study On Engineering Thinking

Engineering , as the eternal theme of human activities, is the creation of human thinking from the beginning. Essentially engineering is a target-oriented activity and process which features the change from subjective human thinking to objective existence. I think therefore engineering exists. In today's society engineering construction is a regular task for social production. Engineering construction begins with engineering thinking, which is an objective thinking aimed at planning and design. This dissertation gives an analysis to engineering and its essence, elaborates the implication , feature , functional procedure and category of engineering thinking as well as emphasizes the great significance of engineering thinking to engineering activites. Based on that the author advocates to develop the innovative thinking of engineers so as to open a new age of engineering thinking by ways of innovating education and focusing on engineering practice. The study on engineering thinking displays great significance in the times today highlighted by innovation.
